Using the correct directory path above, modify your prompt PATH variable. If you use the standalone installer, then the path to the executable is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\150\DAC\bin. If you have Visual Studio 2019, then you'll find the executable in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\2019\Enterprise\Common7\IDE\Extensions\Microsoft\SQLDB\DAC\150. This requires a tool called sqlpackage.exe, which comes bundled with Visual Studio 2019 or can be downloaded directly from Microsoft at SqlPackage for SQL Server 2019. Using the SqlPackage at the Command Line Back Up Using SqlPackage Select the file you created in the previous step and then click through the wizard to finish the import, again using the default settings. Do not use the similarly named "Deploy Data-tier Application", which is for the empty-database option mentioned above. Right-click on "Databases" and choose "Import Data-tier Application".

The database EdFi_Ods_Empty_Template is not needed past this stage and can be ignored.
